ABI Research names BroadForward Telco Cloud innovator

On September 14, 2017, global technology market intelligence firm ABI Research officially named the Dutch signaling solutions vendor BroadForward a Telco Cloud innovator.

Telco Cloud Hot Tech Innovators

The recognition was featured in ABI Research’s “Telco Cloud Hot Tech Innovators” report, which was part of their broader Telco Cloud Platforms & Digital Transformation research service. The report highlighted specialized, cloud-native telco startups that were successfully competing against major legacy network infrastructure vendors by offering flexible, virtualized software solutions.

BroadForward’s Role

BroadForward is singled out for its advanced software-based signaling solutions, specifically its Next-Generation Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) and multi-protocol interworking capabilities. These allowed telecom operators to bridge legacy networks with new virtualized and hybrid cloud-native environments seamlessly.

This recognition is for the activities of BroadForward; launching virtualized infrastructure deployments with major operators like Telenet and expanding their partner ecosystem with infrastructure providers like Casa Systems.
